DhikrShare Inc. ("DhikrShare", "we", "us") operates the DhikrShare mobile app ("App"). This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Data We Collect

• Account/profile data: phone number, name, optional email, profile photo, optional gender, and account ID.
• App/social activity: dhikr counts, streaks, challenge participation, friend requests/interactions, settings, and last-active timestamps.
• Contacts data (optional): contact names, phone numbers, and emails read from your device to help find friends.
• Location data (optional): precise GPS location for prayer-time and reset scheduling features.
• Media/content: images you upload (profile/challenge) and challenge text/content you submit.
• Technical/diagnostics: push tokens, app/platform version, crash and performance diagnostics.
• AI planning inputs: preferences used to generate AI Dhikr plans when that feature is used.

2. How We Use Data

• To create and manage your account.
• To provide app features, including reminders, challenges, social functionality, and AI planning.
• To improve reliability, performance, and security.
• To send service communications you request or allow.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal Bases

Where required by law, we process data based on consent, contract performance, legitimate interests, and legal obligations.

4. How We Share Data

• With other users when you choose to share content in social features.
• With service providers that help us run the app.
• When required by law or to protect safety, rights, and platform integrity.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Third-Party Services

We currently use Firebase (Google) for authentication, database, storage, messaging, and cloud functions; Sentry for crash/error monitoring; OpenAI for AI plan generation (when used); and Aladhan API for prayer-time calculations using location inputs.

AI planning is optional and user-initiated. AI responses are filtered and validated for family-safe output and are shown as guidance only.

If voice-transcription features are enabled in your app version, audio may be processed by platform or transcription providers needed to deliver that feature.

6. Tracking and Advertising

DhikrShare does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track users across apps/websites for targeted advertising as described by Apple.

7. Retention

We keep data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. After account deletion, we delete or anonymize data unless retention is required for legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

8. Your Rights

You can request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

9. Account Deletion

You can delete your account in-app from Settings > Account > Delete Account, or request account and data deletion by emailing us directly at salam@dhikrshare.com.

10. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards (including encrypted transport and access controls) to protect personal data.

11. International Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your home country. We apply safeguards required by applicable law.

12. Children

DhikrShare is designed to be family-friendly and suitable for a general audience (including App Store 4+ presentation). If a user is under 13, a parent or legal guardian must provide permission and supervise use of account features that involve personal data.

13. Updates To This Policy

We may update this policy and will post the updated version with a revised "Last updated" date.
